Red Carp House is built on the belief that the simplest things, done well, matter most. At its heart is a respect for traditional dumpling-making: hand-folded, considered and never rushed. That care gives the brand its starting point, with an experience that invites people to settle in, order another plate and enjoy the food in front of them. We shaped the identity around this generosity, bringing the patience of the kitchen into a brand that feels warm, thoughtful and easy to spend time with.

Tradition provides the foundation, while curiosity brings something new to the table. Familiar fillings are reimagined, unexpected combinations are welcomed, and flavour looks beyond borders. Our direction needed to hold both sides of that story: the comfort of something recognisable and the pleasure of discovering something unexpected. We used that balance to guide the brand’s character, creating room for experimentation while keeping the craft of dumpling-making at its centre.

The visual identity carries the same care as the food. Clarity, texture and considered simplicity establish a language that feels grounded in culinary craft, with enough warmth to feel inviting. We approached the design with restraint, giving each element space and purpose. The intention was to express Red Carp House’s respect for tradition through the quality of the details, creating an identity that feels timeless and gives the food room to speak for itself.

Together, these ideas give Red Carp House a distinct presence: quietly confident, generous and open to possibility. The identity sets an expectation of food made with patience and served with warmth, where a familiar favourite might arrive with a new point of view. It gives the brand a foundation to grow from while staying close to what makes it meaningful — thoughtful craft, curiosity for flavour and the simple pleasure of a very good dumpling.
